Handy rego tips

  • Please pre-register! The best way to register for games at Pheno is through pre-registration. If you're new to Pheno or would like more details on how we schedule games, check out Registration and Scheduling on our Terms & conditions page.
  • That being said, you can always register in person at the Con, but you may miss out on games if they have already filled from pre-registrations (this does happen with Freeforms/LARPS since they tend to run only once or twice).
  • Under 16s are welcome... with some caveats. If you or the person you are registering is under 16 years of age, we would appreciate it if you could review our Participation of persons under 16 years of age policy.
  • Returning to Pheno? If you registered last year your email and details will have been remembered! Forgot your password? That's ok, use the forgot password service to get a new one!
  • When you login you'll be prompted to enter or update your personal details. Please double check this information to make sure it is correct, especially your preferred name as it will be what appears on your badge, schedule and all correspondence from Pheno Labs.
  • TEAMS! This year the process for teams is much more streamlined but it is dependent on one thing: your team captain! When you register / login to the Rego site, after confirming your details you'll be greeted with the "Teams" page! From that page you can either start a new team, or JOIN OR ACCEPT AN INVITATION TO A TEAM!
  • What is a team and how do we schedule? At Pheno, our gaming experience usually revolves around teams of five. These five people have traditionally gotten together, decided on which games they want to play together and all register for those games, sometimes with only a few differences where the people split into different games (often freeforms). These teams often have names as well which you might see appear on our Tryptich and Diptych Perpetual trophies.
  • Your nominated Team Captain is encouraged to register on the site first and they can create your team. Once they do this, the Captain has the ability to create the team, and then invite members to the team using their emails. When that email account registers / logs in, they'll see a button appear with an invitation to join! The captain can then accept those invitations and once you're in, it's time to pick some games!
  • Any system issues. As a system in development, the Pheno Event Manager (AKA Regotron 1000) may have some troublesome teenage growing pains. We ask for your patience in its use. If you encounter problems you are unable to resolve, please email pheno DOT it DOT subcommittee AT gmail DOT com.
  • Online payment is working! We can accept online payments for sessions and the nacreously stylish Phenomenon 2024 merch.
  • Anything else not covered here? Check out our Terms & conditions.
